Privacy policy
IntentLint stores what it needs to enforce the rules in your repository and to run your account. This page says what that is.
Account
Sign-in uses GitHub. We store the GitHub user id, login, name, and email GitHub returns, plus the organizations and repositories you connect. Session cookies keep you signed in. See the cookie policy.
Repositories and pull requests
The GitHub App reads repository contents, pull request diffs, and related metadata so it can propose rules and evaluate .intentlint.yml. We store configuration, rule text, check results, findings, and feedback you submit. We do not write product code except when you ask IntentLint to open a configuration pull request.
Billing
Payments are processed by Stripe. IntentLint stores the pack you bought, the evaluation balance, and Stripe customer identifiers. Card numbers stay with Stripe.
How we use it
We use this data to run checks, show the dashboard, bill completed evaluations, and support the account. We do not sell personal information. We do not use your private repositories to train a public model.
Sharing
We share data with GitHub, because that is where the App and the Check live, and with Stripe, for payment. Infrastructure providers process data to host the service. We share information if the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
Account and repository data stays while the installation is active. Disconnecting the GitHub App stops new access. To delete an account or ask what we hold, email hello@intent-lint.com.
